General Safety Guidelines

Emergency Procedures -  Handling virtual-in flight emergencies

As stated earlier in the Airmen Operations manual American Virtual Airlines allows for in-flight emergencies as long as our SOP's are followed when it comes to when and how often they may occur, in this section we will go through how a pilot should handle in-flight emergencies. Pilots flying on the VATSIM network must read and understand VATSIM's policy on in-flight emergencies outlined in VATIMS's code of conduct section B6 linked here. It is a pilots job to always ensure the safety of the aircraft and when our pilots her simulate virtual emergencies
